Dr Glenn McKay is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon practising at both Canberra public hospital and The National Capital Private hospital in Garran, Canberra. He has a special interest in lung cancer and other chest surgery including mediastinal tumours, chest wall deformity, chest trauma, cardiac valvular and ischaemic heart disease.
Glenn completed his undergraduate bachelor of medicine and surgery at Otago University New Zealand, followed by fellowships in both general and cardiothoracic surgery at Greenlane hospital, Auckland NZ, and the Royal Melbourne hospital. With additional specialist training in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Virginia, and the Emory Clinic, Atalanta Georgia USA, he has extensive experience in the management of aortic, heart, lung and chest wall surgery.
