Dr Glenn McKay
MBchB BSc FRACS
Dr Glenn McKay is an Australasian trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
His undergraduate training included posts at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Greenlane Cardiac Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand. Having Royal Australasian College Fellowship in both General and Cardiothoracic Sugery (2008), and post-Fellowship tenure in the USA (University of Virginia, Emory Clinic Atlanta) he has extensive training in the management of both simple and complex chest surgery.
Dr McKay's daily endeavour is to provide the highest level of surgical skill, post-operative care and outpatient follow up. He has appointments in both the public and private health systems. He remains concerned about the increasing cost of healthcare for all Australians and, as such, he offers No GAP billing for the vast majority of his patients.
