Car Parking - Canberra
Car parking is located at the rear of the Hospital and at various sites on the Hospital grounds. There is a multi-storey car park adjacent to the Canberra Hospital. Patients can also be dropped off at the main entrance to National Capital Private Hospital. Please allow additional time before your appointment to find a suitable parking space.
Your Appointment - Canberra
A referral is required from your General Practitioner or Specialist to see one of our Surgeons. Our staff may ask you to fax or email your referral before your appointment so it can be reviewed by the Doctor.
If you are a new patient please arrive at least ten minutes early to your appointment to complete paperwork. You can download the patient information form above and bring it with you to your appointment if you prefer. You will need to bring your medicare card, private health insurance details, DVA Gold card and pension card. Please also bring copies of relevant results, MRIs, CT scans and ultrasounds. You may be asked to bring these results on a disk.
We accept payment for your consultation by credit card or EFTPOS. At this time we do not accept cash or personal cheques.
Your Appointment - Young and Goulburn
If you require an appointment at Young or Goulburn your referral MUST be faxed to our Canberra office before your appointment on 02 6103 9047. An appointment time and patient information form will be posted or emailed to you and this will need to be returned to us before your appointment. If you prefer you can download the patient information form above and email it back to our office.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an appointment please telephone the office during business hours and allow at least 24 hours notice so we can offer your appointment to patient's on our waiting list.
We recognise that your time is valuable and we make every effort to run on time. Occasionally emergencies occur or patients require a little more time and these cause delays beyond our control. We apologise if we keep you waiting.
